The wine opens with a heady note of spiced plum preserves with clove, anise and cinnamon followed by dried violets and a touch of dried green herbs. The structured palate sits firm but finds its lift from the bright acidity that pulses through the wine finishing with macerated cherry and dried violet flavors.
