Vintage 2023 – With our second release of MTN/ART Syrah crafted by Keith Johnson, we wanted to continue to push the limits with this one-of-a-kind expression of higher-elevation, northeast-facing, echalas-trained vines from WeatherEye.  Details:  86% Syrah, 8% Mourvedre, and 6% Graciano(!), 100% whole cluster, all co-fermented, foot-trodden, native fermentation, and no new oak. There is a beautiful interplay of fruit, savory notes, and acidity that makes this a FANTASTIC food wine (although full disclosure…we drink this by itself all the time).  Intense yet elegant, unfined and unfiltered, 12.9% ABV.  113 cases made.
