Ingredients

    • 4 cups shredded green cabbage or slaw mix

    • 2 cups chopped romaine

    • 1 green apple, thinly sliced or chopped

    • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

    • 1/2 cup aged cheddar, cubed

    • 1/3 cup toasted walnuts

    • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber

    • 1/2 cup sliced celery

    • 2 to 3 tablespoons dried cranberries

    • 3 tablespoons Black Walnut Dark Balsamic

    • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

    • Salt & Pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, romaine, apple, and green onion.

    2. Add the cheddar cubes and toasted walnuts. Add cucumber, celery, or dried cranberries if using.

    3. In a small jar or bowl, combine the Black Walnut Dark Balsamic, olive oil, Dijon, salt, and pepper. Shake or whisk until well blended.
