The classic Earl Grey drink in quick bread form.... yes please! London Fog's have always been one of my favorite things to order at breakfast bistros. Earl Grey tea combined with lavender, vanilla, and cream. Who couldn't resist! So I created this bread to usher in cozy mornings, and long talks with friends. This quick bread is perfect with that morning/afternoon cup of tea and the local gossip!

Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a 8x4 bread pan with parchment paper, brush with EVOO and shake a light coating of flour on top. Tap away excess flour. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together. Add white lavender and black tea and gently stir until mixed evenly.
In a mixing bowl, mix on medium speed the eggs and sugar. Once mixed together, add the oil. Continue to mix in the milk until well combined.
On slow to medium speed, mix in half the dry ingredients until just combined. Scape sides of bowl and mix in the rest until mixed evenly. Spoon evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle fresh lemon zest and/or Starlight Herbs Lemon Sugar on top. Bake for 50 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Let cool before taking it out of the baking tin.
Enjoy!
Recipe Note
White Lavender, also nicknamed culinary lavender, is best in recipes. It is not quite as strong as it's purple counterpart and leaves recipes with a delicate lavender hint instead of a floral soap/perfume flavor.
We harvest and dry ours from a local Lavender Farm, but it is also available online.
