Broiled Grapefruit with Honey, Pistachios, and Dried Flower Petals

Ingredients

  • Ripe fresh Grapefruit

  • Wildflower honey

  • Shelled pistachios

  • Starlight Herbs Lavender Sugar

  • Salade de Fleurs, dried flower blend

Directions

  1. Set oven to Broil. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.

  2. Cut the grapefruit in half (each half serves one person). Cut a thin slice off the bottom so the grapefruit sits level on the sheet pan with the fruit side up. Remove any seeds visible. Drizzle with honey and place under the broiler for about 4-5 minutes. Let cool slightly

  3. Sprinkle with pistachios, dried flower petals, and a few dashes of Lavender Sugar, and perhaps a little more honey if you like grapefruit on the sweeter side. Serve immediately.
