Garlic Olive Oil, Adobo spiced shrimp... what 's not to love about this appetizer! Seriously addicting.

Ingredients
-
2 TBS Garlic Olive Oil
-
8 tail-on shrimp (21/25 count), peeled and deveined
-
1/2 tsp Adobo Seasoning
-
Dash of Aleppo Peppers
-
1 TBS fresh parsley, finely chopped
Directions
Over a grill or a stove top, heat a 6" cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic olive oil and the shrimp in a single layer. Sprinkle half of the adobo seasoning. Watch and listen. Sear the shrimp - as the shrimp start to sizzle sear them on each side for about 2 minutes, gently shaking the pan so they do not stick. When flipped to the second side, add the rest of the adobo seasoning. They will turn from translucent to opaque.
Remove skillet from the heat. Garnish with parsley and a dash of Aleppo peppers. Serve immediately as they are sizzling in the cast iron skillet. 1 skillet serves 2 people as a generous appetizer, four if polite ;). Best to plan for 1 skillet per couple!
Recipe Note
Excellent paired with the Blistered Shishito Peppers as an appetizer. Serve with a chilled Spanish or Portuguese white such as Verdejo or Vinho Verde.
Can also be paired with the peppers as a main dish. Serve the peppers and shrimp with a side of white rice and an extra drizzle of Garlic EVOO.
