Garlic Olive Oil, Adobo spiced shrimp... what 's not to love about this appetizer! Seriously addicting.

Fiesta Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 2 TBS Garlic Olive Oil

  • 8 tail-on shrimp (21/25 count), peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 tsp Adobo Seasoning

  • Dash of Aleppo Peppers

  • 1 TBS fresh parsley, finely chopped

Directions

  1. Over a grill or a stove top, heat a 6" cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add the garlic olive oil and the shrimp in a single layer. Sprinkle half of the adobo seasoning. Watch and listen. Sear the shrimp - as the shrimp start to sizzle sear them on each side for about 2 minutes, gently shaking the pan so they do not stick. When flipped to the second side, add the rest of the adobo seasoning. They will turn from translucent to opaque.

  2. Remove skillet from the heat. Garnish with parsley and a dash of Aleppo peppers. Serve immediately as they are sizzling in the cast iron skillet. 1 skillet serves 2 people as a generous appetizer, four if polite ;). Best to plan for 1 skillet per couple!
